The Babe Warehouse was founded in January 2000.  It originally focused on celebrity portfolios, and was growing rapidly until June of 2001.  At that time, the celebrity content was removed (due to copyright reasons) and reorganized into a model directory, for those who wanted more exposure and to find more work.  Eventually it was expanded to include portfolios for photographers, and has since grown into a resource where photographers, agencies, and anyone looking for that certain "face" can find the model they are looking for.  Also models, as well as magazines, producers, etc, can find photographers that they would like to work with.  In November of 2003, Babe Warehouse did a further redesign to give models and photographers more control over their portfolio.  Today, it's one of the premier modeling sites on the internet, and is continually growing, expanding, and adding new content.   New Models / Photographers Why should I get a portfolio at Babe Warehouse? The Babe Warehouse receives well over a million visitors each month.  That means your portfolio has the potential to be seen by many people who may consider you for work.  Also, if you are a model or photographer who runs a pay site, the Babe Warehouse can send many visitors your way.  While the Babe Warehouse is not an agency or a placement company (we can't guarantee someone will hire you), the added exposure is sure to be helpful. Does a portfolio cost anything? Absolutely not.  Portfolios always have been, and always will be free.  The Babe Warehouse makes all income from advertisers and sponsors, and thus we can provide this service to models and photographers at no cost to them.  The only thing we ask is that you provide a link back to Babe Warehouse. I had a portfolio at Babe Warehouse prior to November of 2003. What happened to it? Due to popularity and the growth of the site, in November of 2003, Babe Warehouse implemented a new database-driven design.  Prior to this, all changes were done manually. As you can imagine, this was a time consuming process.  The new design gave each model control over their own portfolio, to make all changes themselves.   Unfortunately, due to the design, models were forced to resubmit their portfolio to get a username and password.  We did our best to notify all existing models of the change and have them resubmit their portfolios, but unfortunately a number of email addresses were out of date, as well as the official site we had listed.  How much control will I have over my portfolio? You will have (almost) complete control. You will be able to control:    - Any textual changes (biography, hair color, contact info, etc...).    - Add, change, or remove any photos.    - Change your headshot. Things we control:    - Approve or deny new photos before they are active and able to be viewed.    - We assign each photo as either clothed or nude.  Nude photos are automatically placed in           your Nude Portfolio.    - We may change certain text (i.e. biography) if it is deemed offensive or        inappropriate.  If you keep your portfolio on a professional basis, you will not have a        problem. Read our Terms of Service. How many photos can I have in my portfolio? You must submit at least five (5) photos for your portfolio to be approved, including 1 photo that is non-nude (clothed) and a portrait (taller than it is wide) for use as your headshot. There is no maximum limit to the number of photos you can have in your portfolio What kindof material is allowed in my portfolio? Text - We ask all models and photographers keep their portfolio on a professional level.           We frown on swearing, inappropriate or lewd descriptions (i.e. biography). Photos - In addition to clothed photos, we will only accept tasteful nude photos.  Any photo               deemed objectionable will not be approved.  These may be such things as explicit               hardcore photos of sexual intercourse, to lewd behavior (such as spread genitalia).              If you are unsure if a photo will be accepted, you can submit it, and we'll approve or              deny it.  Read our Terms of Service. How are nude photos handled? Nude photos are placed inside an area that is inaccessible to minors (for legal reasons).  We have chosen to use SexKey to handle this for us.  Sexkey is free to use, and provides the site with income, thus keeping Babe Warehouse free. How do I get my own portfolio? Simple.  Just fill out this form.  Portfolios are usually approved within 24 hours. First, you will need to login using your username and password.  Click here to sign in. After signing in, just click on the maintenance that you would like to perform. Text - Changes are automatic. Photos - New photos must be approved.  They are usually approved and will appear in your               portfolio within 24 hours. How can I be the "Featured Portfolio"? The Featured Portfolio is active from Monday - Sunday.  It is in a high profile spot on the main page, and thus is a coveted spot since it provides high exposure for an entire week.   Since there are only 52 weeks in the year, space is limited. There is a small fee involved.  Once payment is received, you will be notified of the exact dates of which you will be the featured portfolio.
